ronja blazer
ronja is the first blazer from velvet novel. Elasticated ribbons bring the blazer close to the body and characterise the silhouette. This is complemented by patch pockets and a matching belt.
for this collection we transform found objects into new, unique products with a touching sense of nostalgia.

the ronja blazer did not use any virgin resources. we worked with local thrift shops and clothing distribution centres and received blazer that we redesigned.
care
cleaning is possible, but often not necessary. a few hours in the fresh air, and you usually have a “cleaned” piece again. If it is absolutely necessary, you can wash the garment by hand in lukewarm water, squeeze it out carefully and dry it in the air.
the design, the pattern and the prototyp from ronja blazer is made at the studio of velvet novel in lucerne, switzerland. the blazer is remanufactured by dorota and her team in poland. the studio is located in stettin, close to the german border. it’s a small team of six seamstresses.
